Yes — it's free for tournaments with up to 8 participants. Beyond that you can buy a credit pack or move to Pro for unlimited participants; see /pricing/ for the numbers.
What tournament formats does it support?
Swiss rounds, single elimination and pods (typically four players) — pick whichever fits the event, or run different formats for different events.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile at app2.mtgevent.com, so there's nothing to install on the shop computer or on a phone.
How are standings and tiebreakers worked out?
